This
instrument has been designed for the fast and automatic titration
of free and total SO2 in fruit juices and beverages, particularly
in strongly tinted red wines, inhibiting the delicate assessment
of the end of the titration.
PRINCIPLE
The appearance of an electric current is detected between
the two branches of the platinum electrode in the presence of
an excess of oxidant.
A micro-electrovalve stops the flow of the oxidant solution
as soon as the electric current appears.
USE
1. Put in the beaker the sample to be titrated and the reagents:

2.
Start the titration by pushing the "Titration" button.
3.
The appearance of an electric current (viewed on microammeter)
stops the flow of the oxidant titration solution : you only
need to read the volume used and consult the correspondence
table.
